New Delhi, June 6, 2014: Access Healthcare, a fast-growing revenue services provider to the healthcare industry, today announced that Ross Perot, Jr. has become a lead investor in the Dallas-based firm which also has operations in the state of Tamilnadu in India. The company leverages cloud-based and proprietary technology to deliver next-generation Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) to enhance cash flow and reduce collection costs for healthcare providers.

“Dallas has long been a major center of BPO and IT outsourcing expertise, and the executives at Access Healthcare have world-class experience in this field,” Ross Perot Jr. said. “I worked with leaders of the Access team at Perot Systems, and their technology enablement solutions have significantly advanced the state of revenue cycle management in healthcare.”

The company was founded by Anurag Jain and Vardhman Jain, who already have built and sold four highly successful BPO companies across the healthcare, finance, accounting and customer relationship management industries. One of their largest ventures, Vision Healthsource, was sold to Perot Systems in 2003, at which time they joined the organization and worked closely with Perot Jr. on operations and client service.

The investment marks Perot’s first BPO venture since Perot Systems was sold to Dell Inc. in 2010.

The Access Healthcare leadership team also includes board member Bob Campbell, CEO of the consultancy Campbell Global Services and former public sector leader and a vice chairman of Deloitte & Touche LLC, and Shaji Ravi, who previously served as Head of Physician Services delivery at Perot Systems and Dell Services.

Access Healthcare’s operations are based on the team’s extensive experience in revenue cycle management combined with proprietary technologies to deliver guaranteed revenue cycle transaction processing efficiency. The result is reduced collection costs and accelerated cash flow. In addition, the company improves operations through core services that include:

  • Technology-led transformation services that boost productivity through automation, including data capture and processing, as well as offline applications for faster remote processing.
  • A collaborative approach to reporting and performance analytics to enhance reporting and governance.
  • IT systems Healthcare compliance: designed by industry experts, the compliance program uses strong training and monitoring framework as well as high encryption standards that exceed HIPAA requirements.

Founded in 2011 with one client, Access Healthcare now employs approximately 2,000 associates and expects its workforce to double in size over the next year. In addition to its Dallas operations, the company has four facilities in India and one in the Philippines.

While initially focusing on healthcare providers, Access Healthcare has the potential to expand its scope to deliver advanced technology enablement solutions to customers in other industries with its blend of domestic and international resources that help rapidly growing businesses with mission-critical operations.
