Kolkata, Oct 28: Beginning a new chapter in international academic partnership, The Institute of leadership, entrepreneurship and development (iLEAD), Kolkata, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Law and Management Business School (LMBS), Mauritius.The three-year MOU aims at promoting faculty and student exchange besides academic information and material sharing. The MOU also underlines joint academic programmes, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels besides undertaking training and research in different fields of mutual interest. The joint initiative also aims at organizing conferences and forums in either countries or elsewhere. Sharing his views on the MOU, iLEAD chairman Pradip Chopra said after Yunnan Normal University Business School, China and Dhaka University, Bangladesh, this is our third international institutional partnership. “This kind of partnership not only gives a new dimension to education and training by giving students an international exposure, but goes a long way in building professionals and leaders of excellence. I am sure students of both countries would benefit from the partnership.” Speaking on the occasion, LMBS representative S D Appanah said “we are happy to tie up with iLEAD which is one of the best media and management business schools in India and hope the partnership will yield desired results in the pursuit of academic excellence.”
