NASHIK, July 4, 2014: Famous personality once said “Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier’. Drawing inspiration from this, Wockhardt Hospitals took a step forward to spread happiness among the children of Smt. Garda Anath Balakashram. Wockhardt Hospital, Nashik organised a refreshing trip for their employees, ex-patients and their relatives and visited the children of Smt. Garda Anath Balakashram on Trimbakeshwar Road.
Smt. Garda Anath Balakashram which is situated at Khambale village on Trimbakeshwar Road was established by Dr. Ratnakar Pawar. Their slogan is ‘We bring life into the lives of orphan kids’. Children belonging to all age group inhabit here. The management of the orphanage take care of their education, well being and make them stand on their feet.
Wockhardt employees and patients spent their entire Sunday with the children of the orphanage. They gave many gifts to the children and spent their time entertaining the children with games like, antakshari, musical chair and so on. They also gave them information about the types of laughter in laughter club and their usefulness in their life style.
Avinash Agrawal, Centre head, Wockhardt Hospitals, Nashik said that “We have conducted various social welfare projects apart from regular treatments and this initiative is one part of it. I hope that today’s Sunday would be one among those memorable days in our lives and these children’s lives. He adds, Innocent Children Become Orphans by No Fault of Their Own.”
Marketing Head Samruddha Deshpande of Wockhardt Hsopitals, Nashik, and their employees along with the management team of the orphanage Ashirwad Pawar, Tejaswini Pawar, Manager Kalpana Salunke and Ranveer Salunke were present on the occasion at the orphanage.
