TimesJobs.com appoints Pankaj Maurya as Head of Technology

October 19, 2015: Times Business Solutions today announced that Pankaj Maurya, whose spent over 8 years at Google and the last couple of years at the Google HQ at Mountain View, USA, will join TimesJobs.com, India’s leading career and recruitment portal, as Head of Technology.

Pankaj will be responsible for maintaining and growing the edge that TimesJobs.com technology currently enjoys over competition as well as create greater value for both candidates and employers. Pankaj will focus on building a scalable, modular and mobile first technology organization.

While at Google in Mountain View, California, Maurya drove their new search ranking algorithms, ramped up their search engine infrastructure, and led the team that rewrote the monetization code for Google Apps. Prior to Google, Pankaj has also worked with British Telecom.  He holds a Degree in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur and is huge proponent of solving problems in a sustainable manner, using modular design.
