Temples are for worship and not to provide the certification of impurity: AnujaKapur

Mrs. Anuja Kapur (2)Even in the 21st century the mindset of the people are still not developed as it should have been. People are still living with the backward thinking. We have reached Mars and conquering universe and here in our country we are not able to come out from the religious controversial issues, such as menstrual lady is impure, lower caste people cannot enter the temples etc etc. Religion provides strength during crisis, it gives us hope but some priests, monk, have used it for their own personal gratification of their own personal views. They are misleading the society and spreading wrong message on religious issues. Religion does not give us any right to discriminate the prejudice between sex, caste, religion, creed, gender. It is a memento of strength and development. It does not preach intolerance, sense of insecurity, hatred towards human kind. It is matter of shame, where the science has given us the opportunity to flourish; we are falling backwards into the dungeon in the name of religion. In the past few days Shani Shingnapur temple and Sabarimala temple are in news for their absurd rules where they want everyone to follow that women can’t enter the premises of the temples as they are impure because of the menstrual cycle.

Today we have some hypocrites in our society who still believe in this type of thinking. Speaking on the issue Criminal Psychologist Mrs. Anuja Kapur said that, “this type of mindset will take our country way backward. In this developing time where every nation is growing and talking about development we are still fighting on these useless and senseless religious issues. We belong to that nation which believes in diversity, culture, traditions ,but not for the discrimination towards women and men. And a message to all the priests, saints and whosoever is supporting this school of thought its high time they need to acknowledge the fact that we cannot debate on biological process of women. Article 15, 21 25 gives each person fundamental rights towards religion and its preaching. We all can have our view points but we cannot enforce the same on others. It is the relationship between a devotee and the Lord and there is nobody who can come in between them. let the God itself speak whom he wants to bard from being his devotee. This is not all about the Hindu religion, Muslim women also demanding to enter the holy Dargah of Haji Ali. Those who are supporting the ban of women in temples are real threat to the nation and they should know that all the men who are entering the temple are a product of sexual intercourse done by a man and a woman. The woman keeps baby in her womb for 9 months and gives birth to the baby from vagina. Are not they all impure?  To enter the temple you do not need to take permission from any person it is every individual’s fundamental right and against the law”.

In the era of modern techniques, science inventions we need to focus on the real issues which can take our country ahead instead of fighting over these stupid issues. Let the devotees to worship their God and not to separate the Lord and devotees from their cruel politics.
