Stainless steel production decreases by 9.4% to 23.7 million tons in the first half year of 2020

Brussels 29 September 2020 – The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) has released figures for the first half year of 2020 showing that stainless steel melt shop production decreased by 9.4% year–on–year to 23.7 million metric tons.

The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) is a non-profit research organization based in Brussels which represents the interests of the international stainless steel industry towards the general public, consumers, the media and regulatory authorities. The Forum was founded in 1996.
