Siemens Metals Technologies has received an order from Ilva S.p.A to equip the company’s two sinter plants at its Taranto steel mill in Italy with secondary dedusting systems. The systems will be able to clean 1.5 million actual cubic meters per hour and reduce dust emissions from the sinter plants to less than 10 milligrams per standard cubic meter, which is well below the legal limit.
