Pune 23rd November’13- Pune’s biggest multi designer store Rudraksh hosts designer Rahul Mishra for the first time where they showcase his vibrant and sparkling fall winter collection. The collection titled as ‘Sunehri’ is the fall winter collection by the designer that will be showcased at Rudraksh.
Sunehri is an attempt to keep great tradition alive and to create lightweight handloom couture. The crafts and handlooms are synonymous to Sunehri. They resonate gold preserved like amber for generations.
The flower motifs like Genda (Marigold), Gudhal (Hibiscus) , Mogra & Harisringar (Jasmine) come to life when woven on handlooms with the finest precision. The story of featherweight textiles takes us back to the memories of the finest heirloom pieces.
Finely detailed, hand-woven textiles from the looms of central India transform themselves into a very fluid festive look of kalidaars, bandgalas, lehangas & Saaris. The fluidity of saari is complimented with tailored hand woven Jackets to create a universal Indian Look.
