Rio Tinto Diamonds appoints Bollywood actress, Yaami Gautam as Brand Ambassador for its Nazraana collection

Rio Tinto Diamonds, one of the world’s major diamond producers, has announced Bollywood actress Yaami Gautam as the Brand Ambassador for Nazraana, its flagship diamond jewellery initiative for the Indian market.

Yaami Gautam made her first appearance as Brand Ambassador for Nazraana at India’s premium jewellery fashion event, India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) in Delhi on April 12.

According to Vikram Merchant, Manager of Rio Tinto Diamonds, Indian Representative Office, “Nazraana, which takes its reference from royal gift giving rituals of past eras, is woven into the gift giving traditions of modern India. These timeless and beautiful diamond gifts of love are ideal for all celebratory occasions.

Speaking on her association with Nazraana, Yaami Gautam said, “Nazraana is a wonderful initiative and I am delighted to be associated with these beautiful jewellery pieces. The Nazraana collection of jewellery is crafted using natural diamonds and hallmarked 18K and 14K gold or 925 silver. It is available in over 150 retailers throughout India.
