Mojojojo and Raftaar will play atop the bus on 8th February at Amity University, Noida
Noida, 5th February, 2017: Following a tour to remember across Guwahati, Jamshedpur, Bhubaneswar and Kolkata, the gig on wheels will begin its north tour at Amity University in Noida with DJ/producer Mojojojo and rapper Raftaar, both returning to play atop the bus once again.
Delhi-based DJ/producer Akshay Johar, better known as Mojojojo, has swiftly made a name for himself, with his bass heavy sound and ability to jump genres. Having played close to 100 gigs in a year, MojoJojo has opened for the likes of DJ Snake, Zomboy and Dismantle. He has toured the country in the past year with stops at some of the biggest festivals, and now returns to play atop the bus.
Indian rapper Raftaar, meanwhile, made his debut on the Red Bull Tour Bus earlier this year in Jamshedpur, as he played to over 7000 roaring fans. Raftaar was formerly a part of Mafia Mundeer, but broke away and came into his own with his album Do Hazaar Solo, and then went on to produce music for Bollywood films. Apart from tracks like Go Pagal, Swag Mera Desi, he is also known for his contribution to recent Hindi films, Dhaakad in Dangal and Toh Dishoom in Dishoom among others.
Venue: Amity University, Noida
Date: 8th February
