Punit Sheth appointed as General Manager of Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel

sheratonSheraton Hyderabad Hotel has announced the appointment of Punit Sheth as General Manager. He has been associated with Starwood Hotels and resorts since 2003. Punit formerly played the role of General Manager at Four Points by Sheraton, Ahmedabad since February 2013. Prior to this, in 2009 he joined The Westin, Pune team as Director of Finance and was later promoted to the post of Executive Assistant Manager.


Punit brings a treasure of experience to the position owing to his service in the hospitality industry for more than 18 years complemented by highly respected operational excellence. He has received global exposure at properties like Westin Waltham, Boston and Sheraton Braintree, Boston. Mr. Sheth has also handled managerial roles in Food & Beverage and Front Office departments at Marriott Pleasanton, California, Marriott Copley, Taj Vivanta and Valley View (Welcome Group, ITC). He possesses strong management and interpersonal skills after serving in so many executive hospitality positions across the world.


Punit ShethPunit has received his Bachelor of Science, Hospitality Management degree and his Masters of Business Administration at prestigious international institutions like Southern New Hampshire University at Bryant University, Rhode Island.


He specializes in guest focused hotel operations, business development, financial analysis and revenue management, promotions, conversions and property maintenance. With qualifications like that, it is no wonder he has received such highly accredited recognition in the industry.
