Gaurav Bagaria said that even after regular learning and education for 21 years, students are not prepared for Industrial challenges. This is a serious problem for industry and educational institutes. He stated the main reason behind this problem is the students’ mind set for education. They study for marks and for degree. They need to understand that degree may help them to enter in the industrial world but for development and retention they need to have good command over concepts and knowledge. He also advised students to value this time and utilizes it in developing their skills and enhancing their talent. This will possible only by practical learning than that of reciting theory. He also informed students about recent industrial trends and asked them to work hard with good time management and determination. She also told about college and infrastructure, which includes Hi-Tech labs with latest equipment, big sports ground, library with latest books and all the facilities for extra-curricular activities.

The program outlined all the activities and highlighted the objectives of conducting this grand orientation for students who recently entered to a new life with high ambitions and more expectations. The major components of orientation program were: awareness of linkages among society, environment, education & development philosophy of education and academic culture. Followed by the academic knowledge and sharing of practical experiences by teachers, interactive session became more interesting when seniors came into the picture for further interactions. The event was a success and day passed by soon. All went great and students’ energy and excitement was noticeable. Students became familiar with the campus, faculty, societies etc. The day ended with thanks note by the Gaurav Bagaria.
