Mumbai Hosts 6th Edition Of TEDxGateway; Focuses On ‘Building Ideas For A Better World’

tedxMumbai, 17 November, 2015: Based on the mission of “Ideas Worth Spreading”, presenting the 6th edition of TEDxGateway on 5th December 2015 at the Tata Theatre, National Centre Performing Arts (N.C.P.A) in Mumbai. Committed to spreading ideas, the global platform will bring the world’s 22 most fascinating thinkers and doers to the Indian audience to share their experiences and lessons across spheres of life.

TEDxGateway is expected to draw more than 1400 attendees at NCPA, along with a special live streaming for 1000 students at Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). In addition, the main event will also be webcasted across 50 campuses in India, for over 150,000+ viewers.

This years’ TEDxGateway features a diverse lineup of speakers which includes a NASA scientist, a World Bank economist, social activists, modern-day musicians amongst other artists and innovators. The one-day event also includes prominent luminaries such as Shri, Suresh Prabhu, Cabinet Minister, Benedetta Berti, International Policy Analyst, Lujhendra Ojha, a NASA Scientist and Astrogeek who discovered water on Mars among others.  Apart from an outstanding array of speakers, TEDXGateway is also be supporting The Taxi Fabric, a concept by Sanket Avlani. Taxi Fabric, , connects designers with taxi drivers-turning seat covers into canvas’ for young Indian designers to showcase their design talent and storytelling skills.
