WOBI Future Leaders Initiative to provide free admission for up to 100 MBA students October 7-8, 2014

August 7, 2014, New York, NY – World Business Forum New York 2014 is seeking to gather the leaders of today with the leaders of tomorrow. This year, the forum is giving away up to 100 complimentary tickets to today’s best and brightest MBA students–our WOBI Future Leaders–to attend presentations delivered by the world’s top thought leaders, including Ben Bernanke, Malcolm Gladwell, Dan Gilbert and others.

Ranked by The Muse as the #1 ‘General Inspiration’ business forum to attend this year, World Business Forum New York 2014 will gather leading decision makers from the global executive community to discuss today’s business opportunities and challenges in front of 4,000 international executives. In a contradictory, high-pressure, fast-moving, multi-stakeholder world in which we all operate, new leadership and thought skills will be required to navigate through uncertain times, and that’s where today’s MBA students and tomorrow’s provocateurs come in.

This year, students in both full-time and executive education MBA programs will be given the opportunity to complete the following tasks to earn free admission to World Business Forum 2014, a $2,700 value:

1)    Each student must identify on his or her Twitter account which World Business Forum speaker he or she is most interested in hearing and give a brief description why while also using the #wbfny and #wobifutureleaders hashtags.

2)    Interested students must go to wobi.com/futureleaders and complete a simple online form including full name, e-mail, cell phone, business school currently enrolled (U.S. schools only) and a student I.D. number for verification purposes. Students will also be asked to describe how they plan to be provocateurs in their respective careers.

Only students currently enrolled in full-time and executive MBA programs from accredited universities in the U.S. are eligible to participate.

Names will be randomly selected during a five-week period leading up to the forum, and winners will be notified via WOBI’s Twitter account as well as by e-mail. Free admission does not include travel costs.

Don’t miss out on this chance to glean insight from some of the world’s greatest minds in business and beyond.  This year’s list of speakers includes:

–Ben Bernanke, former Federal Reserve Chairman
–Malcolm Gladwell, journalist, bestselling author and speaker
–Dan Gilbert, Harvard psychologist and bestselling author
–Sir Ken Robinson, globally recognized authority on creativity
–Peter Diamandis, chairman of both the X Prize Foundation and Singularity University
