April 5, 2016, Hyderabad: Mahindra & Mahindra, M&M Launched Mahindra YUVO tractors empowered with technology in five HP variants with- 32HP, 35HP, 40HP, 42HP and 45HP here in Hyderabad on the 5th April at Ramoji Fim City, Hyderabad, Telangana, INDIA. These products were produced at the manufacturing plant, Zaherabad of Mahindra and Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector, FES in Telangana to provide superior performance to farming operations in any soil conditions. Designed within 30-45 HP category to serve farmers in 30 different farming applications, activities right from land preparation, paddling to harvesting as well as post harvesting .These solutions help farmer to do more, faster and better farming. The company invested about 300 crores to develop YUVO that put a benchmark in farm technology. Ravindra Shahane, Head, Vice-President, Marketing, Farm Equipment, M&M said YUVO is designed with 15 gears to ease maneuvering in the field to help farmers enhance their productivity.
YUVO will be launched all across the country in the next week. The project team that developed YUVO had done an extensive research where they had plugged in the feedback of customers from 12 states and fine-tuned the product design patterns based on 7000 inputs/conversations put to about 140,000 hours of lab and field testing.
“The Yuvo will cater to the evolving needs of the progressive farmer and help enhance the farm yield. Based on different terrains of lands across the country we intend to ring in customized products to the farmers very soon. Though we have our market presence in Asian markets considerably we intend to export these tractors to USA by the end of this year,” said Mahindra & Mahindra Executive Director, Dr Pawan Goenka. He further added domestic market in quite important to us. The Government of India significant emphasis in the current budget on agriculture and the farming sector a 10 % overall growth in the tractor sales all over the country is expected.

YUVO’s enhanced cooling allows farmers to work long hours while doing threshing thus reducing the burden on engine. YUVO would be sold across 400 outlets of M&M in 15 states across the country. The price of Mahindra YUVO is 4.99 lakhs for 265DI (32 HP) to 6.49 lakhs fro 575 DI (45HP) in Hyderabad. The price range of YUVO would differ in other states in the country.
