Lonely Planet Magazine India celebrates travel in 2019 with the first-ever Lonely Planet Travel Talks 

Mumbai,December 4, 2018:The first-ever edition of the Lonely Planet Travel Talks took place in Mumbai on December 1, 2018. Following the format of a panel discussion, the Travel Talk had MasterChef Shipra Khanna and Mr.Ashutosh Mehere, CEO – Alliances, Cox & Kings, in conversation with Ms Primrose Monteiro-D’Souza, editor of Lonely Planet Magazine India, in a free-ranging masterclass about the destinations in the Lonely Planet Best In Travel 2019 list, focusing on Sri Lanka and Copenhagen, and about food and travel in today’s world of experiential journeys.

 

Primrose, Chef Shipra and Ashutosh shared their tips and tricks on travel with over 60 travel enthusiasts, who participated animatedly in the discussion.

The first-ever Lonely Planet Travel Talks was held at Tappa: Progressive Indian Kitchen & Cocktail Bar, at Kamla Mills in Mumbai’s Parel area. Chef Virendra at Tappa brilliantly complemented the showcased destinations with a menu of specially-curated appetisers and mocktails.
