LINE x UNICEF Special Edition stickers5

New Delhi, India – July 8, 2015 – LINE, the world’s leading life platform, releases a new set of stickers “LINE X UNICEF: Special Edition” as part of its global partnership with The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

The LINE X UNICEF: Special Edition stickers consist of 16 unique stickers featuring LINE Friends characters and it is part of the partnership’s efforts to raise awareness and support to help the world’s most vulnerable children. The funds from this activity will contribute to UNICEF’s global programs to provide healthcare, immunization, clean water, nutrition, protection, education and emergency relief where it is most needed. Announced back in February 2015, LINE and UNICEF agreed on a strategic partnership to help fundraise by developing and selling digital LINE stickers and character licensing. LINE also enables people to donate with its “Free Coins”. These are virtual coins which users can earn by watching a specific video or downloading an app.

“Free Coins is a fun and easy way to donate via mobile,” said a spokesperson from LINE. “By using Free Coins, we hope to establish a donating culture where users can enjoy the process of participating.”

The sticker set is available in Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, United States, France, Germany, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Spain and India until August 5, 2015 through in-app Sticker Shop upon adding UNICEF Official Account.
