New Delhi, February 17th, 2015:  Oxford Bookstore Connaught Place and LiFi Publications Pvt. Ltd. celebrated the launch of the book What is life? From the Eyes of an Observer’ by celebrated social entrepreneur, Anand Choudhary. The book was released by Sri. Tariq Anwar, Hon.Member of Parliament and former Minister of State, Government of India. The launch was followed by an interactive session highlighting the issues in the book including ‘happiness’, ‘success’ and ‘relationships’ among other issues.

‘What is Life? From the Eyes of an Observer’ is a thoughtful and refreshing reflection of how we all need to make our way through life without losing sight of what we want and what makes each of us unique. The author has tried to help the readers connect with the inner self whilst showing everyone the path to achieve happiness that is everlasting.

About Anand Choudhary

 

Anand Choudhary holds a master degree in Human Resource and Knowledge Management from Lancaster University Management School, UK, a PG Diploma in Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi and a BA (Hons) in Psychology.

 

He completed his Masters in 2010 and followed it by a high salaried job for two years. Post the corporate stint, he came back to his ancestral village Rampur in the Katihar district to start a ‘Social Entrepreneurship Model’ consisting of the largest high-density mango orchard in the state of Bihar, ponds for fish and duck rearing and a small rural marketing complex catering to the needs of the rural people. His social entrepreneurship model has since then created numerous sustainable employment opportunities at the village level whilst also contributing towards reducing massive amounts of carbon footprints with the plantation of more than six thousand Mango, Mahogany and Kadam trees.

 

In addition, he also runs a registered foundation named ‘Dr. Sudha Rani Sinha Foundation Trust’ in the memory of his beloved mother which provides cash prizes and other educational benefits to students scoring high marks in the tenth and eighth grade in local government schools.
