ISS Australia expands services with acquisition of marine survey specialists Christy & Griffin

The acquisition is an important milestone in the development of ISS Australia which will not only expand its service profile into marine surveying, but also develop its goal of delivering a unique broad range of services to the maritime industry in Australasia.

Founded in 1966, Christy & Griffin is now one of the leading regional survey companies in Australia with multi-port operations covering New South Wales, and Victoria, with associates in Queensland and Western Australia.

The company offers an extensive survey and consultancy range of ship and cargo surveys (quality, quantity and damage inspections) to vessel surveys (draft, stowage and bunker) flag state audit, and Port Captain Services to P&I work. Christy and Griffin’s diversity extends to bulk cargo handling, 3D stockpile mapping, land transport logistics and together with ISS branch offices, is now offering marine insurance inspections on a national scale.
