ISB to hold Information session for young generation of family businesses

isbHyderabad/Mohali, September 16, 2013: The Indian School of Business (ISB), with campuses at Hyderabad and Mohali, is conducting admission information session for the recently launched Management Programme for Family Business (MFAB) for the academic year 2014-15. Targeted at the younger generation of family-owned businesses, this programme has been specially designed to groom the  scions of family businesses to take on leadership roles in their businesses.

MFAB will equip the young business leaders with diverse learning opportunities through interactions with world-class faculty, international exposure, industry interventions and experiential learning. Spread over a span of fifteen months, MFAB will have the content and rigor of top global Masters in Management programmes, contextualised to the needs of family businesses. It will be delivered in modules of seven days, every sixth week and participants can travel from any location without taking a break from their businesses.

Admissions for the academic year 2014-15 are on and the applications are open. The selection and admission criteria are as follows –

  • Participants are required have a Bachelors Degree or an equivalent qualification (like CA, etc.).
  • Prior work experience of 4 years is recommended, though is not the prerequisite
  • Applicants will be required to appear for the Business Aptitude Test (BAT), and appear for a personal interview.

MFAB will also provide participants an opportunity for international immersions in USA, Africa and China. The curriculum focuses on enhancing analytical and functional skills, strengthen strategy and leadership as well as bring to the fore solutions to unique family business related challenges. The school welcomed the founding class on campus this year. The programme attracted a vibrant group of individuals from diverse industries.
