Messe Frankfurt India and the Guild of Designers and Artists calls out to such aspiring interior designers, product designers, home stylists and companies to present their imaginative and avant-garde designs and concepts at the Interior Lifestyle Awards 2015 and take their ambitions to the next level.

The award, which aims to recognise the work of young and ambitious Indian artists in the architecture and home decor space will accept applications until 15April, 2015. An esteemed three-member jury panel comprising of textile and interior design industry’s icons LipikaSood, Ritu Kumar and Sunita Kohli will evaluate these designs and concepts on the basis of the innovative functionality, modernity and sustainability factors, following which eight finalists will move to the next round.

This brings out very design-oriented creations and adds a great deal of innovation to the home furnishing space in India. The awards produce competition and give recognition of individual creative efforts. The encouragement is important as is the opportunity to the exposure given to travel.” According to Ritu Kumar “the most important judging criteria apart from aesthetics will be the contemporary nature and use of the products that are created for both an international and Indian market place.”
