Indian fund houses Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC and SBI AMC win big at Thomson Reuters MENA Lipper Fund Awards 2017

  • SBI Funds Management wins the ‘Best Equity Fund (India) over 5 years’ title

Mumbai, September 25, 2017 – Indian fund houses Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund and SBI Mutual Fund won several titles at the recently held Thomson Reuters MENA Lipper Fund Awards. Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Limited bagged six awards with its Bond-Retail-Growth fund sweeping the ‘Bond Indian Rupee’ category for all 3, 5 and 10 year performance period. Additionally, the fund house also bagged two awards under ‘Equity India’ category for its ‘Small & Midcap Fund-Growth’ and ‘Midcap Fund-Growth’ for 3 years and 10 years performance period respectively. SBI Mutual Fund’s Magnum MidCap Fund-Growth bagged the 5 year performance period in the category. The final tally for the awards for Indian fund houses was as follows:
