Another feather in the hat of SRSIS was the inauguration of the shooting Range in August, 2016. The honor was made by Shri Baljit Singh Sethi, National Advisor NRAI (National Rifle Association Of India). Shooting range has been set according to the national standards and is a 10 metre range. Other guest of honor were Mr. Jagmeet Singh Sethi, Gen Sec, NRAI, Mr. Aman Goyal member BJP, Mr. Ramesh Chowdhary National coach for Shooting , Ms. Varsha Tomar National Shooter .
Shri Baljit Singh Sethi in his address , appreciated the efforts made by the management for promoting shooting in the area as well as taking an initiative to promote interest in students towards shooting. He also extended his support in all the endeavors to encourage the sport and the potential shooters .
Mr. Vinay Goyal , MD , SRSIS thanked all the guests and expressed his commitment towards making SRSIS a holistic school.
The Principal Ms. Deepika Sharma , also expressed her gratitude and said such efforts would help students do better.
