IIM Lucknow inducted the 4th batch of the Post Graduate Programme in Sustainable Management (PGPSM) at its Noida Campus, on the 4th of July, 2018. The induction program was inaugurated by the Chairperson, Prof. Ashish Aggarwal, who emphasized the increasing importance of sustainability in light of rising social and environmental risks, which called for equitable growth and responsible leaders. Prof. Rajiv Kumra, Dean Noida Campus highlighted the fact that the private sector is integrating sustainable business practices into their strategies and operations, making this course well positioned to address the demand for management professionals in the field of sustainability. Ms. Neelima Khetan, Group Head- CSR, Vedanta delivered the keynote address for the event. She underscored the fact that the practice of sustainability is to be understood as a part of an entire ecosystem of stakeholders. She also spoke about the evolution of the drivers of sustainability – with the baton being passed on from governments, to civil society and finally to markets and businesses. At its NOIDA Campus, IIM Lucknow also offers one-year full time residential International Programme in Management for Executives and two-years Working Managers’ Programme.
