ICICI Bank inaugurates 100th branch in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Odisha: ICICI Bank Ltd, India’s largest private sector bank, announced the inauguration of its 100th branch in Odisha. The new branch was inaugurated at Raighar in Nabarangpur district. To commemorate this milestone, the Bank organised a  blood donation camp at its main branch in Kharvel Nagar, Bhubaneswar.

 

Mr. Gokul Chandra Pati, IAS, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Odisha inaugurated the blood donation camp organized in collaboration with Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage.

I am informed that the Bank is planning to open 30 more branches in the state in this financial year, mostly in rural unbanked locations. I wish them good luck.”

 

Added, Mr. Vikas Bhauwala, DGM & Zonal Head, ICICI Bank, Odisha and Chhattisgarh, “ICICI Bank is trying to increase its reach in the state by expanding the branch network, setting up fully automated Touch Banking branch, appointing Banking Correspondents and bringing innovative solution like Branch on Wheels. Over the years, our network has grown consistently. We have now 100 branches in the state, with most of them catering to the rural and semi urban areas.”

 

The new branch will remain open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday. The branch will offer the entire gamut of ICICI Bank products including a comprehensive range of deposits, savings and current accounts, PPF account, auto loan, home loan, personal loan, gold loan and business loans.

 

In addition to 100 branches, ICICI Bank has 227 ATMs, one 24X7 Touch Banking branch and two ‘Branch-on-Wheels’ branches to cater to the villages namely Gandala, Palasi, Dobadi and Sahapur in Ganjam district, and Lankahuda, Kopsinga, Rupidihi, Kirei and Kandabahal in Sundergarh district. These villages were so far devoid of banking services.
