5th January 2017: Wrapped in a colorful turban, Ace cricketer Harbhjan Singh added a new energy when he came out in support of his co-owned team Mumbai Maharathi in the Pro Wrestling League Season 2 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium near ITO, New Delhi. He was there to cheer and motivate the team. The team is being led by Rio-Olympic gold medalist Erica Weibe who took down her opponent in the very first match played against Haryana Hammers and also had an exciting win over Punjab Royal’s Vasilisa Marzaliuk.
Excited Harbhajan Singh added “I am very excited to be here again. Thanks to the people who have come out in great numbers to cheer for their teams. Last time also, I came here and was glad to see the energy of everyone, be it wrestlers on the mat or people sitting and rooting for their favorites. Always a pleasure to be part of Pro Wrestling League Season 2.”
