Gurgaon, May 23, 2018: GoWork, world’s largest collaborative co-working ecosystem, today announced the launch of an in-campus Island bar in its Gurgaon workspace. Aimed towards bringing everything, innovation a one place, GoWork’s co-working campus located in plot-108 Udyog Vihar will house an Island bar at the break out area on the 7th floor. Amidst the metro’s ocean of humanity, within a stuffy cab stuck in bad traffic, or while car-pooling with an irritating colleague who insists on sharing self-written poems while on the drive back home, modern professionals go through all sorts of agonizing experiences as they travel back from work. Their only solace? Looking forward to a drink, which after the day’s grind, seems like manna from heaven. What if, however, you could enjoy this elixir of comfort, not after travelling through hours that seem like ages, but in your workspace itself? Seems too good to be true? Not anymore! Modern-day professionals like to relax with a beer or two after a long day’s work. In fact, some of the work conversations even spill onto such informal meetings. Keeping this in mind, GoWork introduced this novel idea, equipping the island bar with some of the best spirits sourced from all over the world. The clincher? The drinks will be on the house!

Commenting on the thought that went behind making such a bold move, Sudeep Singh, Co-Founder and Chief Evangelist, GoWork said, “The millennial professional has varied needs, and at GoWork, we strive to ensure our workplaces are equipped to meet such needs in the best way possible. The island bar will serve as an ideal spot for the employees of these prestigious organizations to unwind after dealing with the pressure of deadlines and targets all day long. From its décor to the lighting, the island bar has been designed to provide the perfect relaxation to professionals looking for some well-earned ‘me’ time, or carry out work-related activities in a place where they can be free and the only protocol they need to follow is to have a good time!”

The island bar will also host informal sessions and light performances during Friday evenings. GoWork, on its part, has become synonymous with introducing certain practices and conducting activities that is gradually transforming the idea of work. From hosting pet-play-day sessions to establishing a world art café dedicated to serving the best of global cuisine, the co-working organization has redefined what work means for Indian professionals. But this time, it has truly raised the ‘bar’!
