Theme: “The Other”– An exploration of the many ways of making a portrait

Event Details – Goa Photo 2015 is a outdoor festival that is staged in public places with a theme showcasing contemporary photography. It proposes large-format photographic displays and aims to synergies with the urban landscape and architectural heritage of Panaji and the Reis Magos Heritage Centre. Nineteen International and Indian exhibitions such as Bharat Sikka, Joel Tettamanti, Cristina de Middel, Max Pinckers, Eurio Lino do Vale are going to exhibit in this edition of the festival. Along with photo exhibition, wide range of talks, discussions, presentations and workshops related to photography with well-known photographers, curators and critics will be orgainised. Goa Photo is conceived by Nikhil Padgaonkar and Lola Mac Dougall along with Delhi-based Ishan Tanka, the former photo editor of Tehelka and Frank Kalero, internationally-renowned photography curator.
