New Delhi,January 2014: It was truly a memorable occasion as the German luxury automobile brand, Audi hosted an Art Exhibition in association with Art Gallery Nature Morte, at the Audi South Delhi dealership on Mathura Road, New Delhi today.
Audi is known for technology and innovation and its range of cars stand out for design and engineering excellence. In sync with Audi’s brand values, this exhibition was a perfect blend of taste, class and grandeur. On display were major artworks, “Anger Therapy Machine” & “Quintessential” by critically acclaimed sculptor, L.N. Tallur who is also the winner of the prestigious Skoda Prize 2012 for contemporary art. Mr. Peter Nagy, Director, Nature Morte was also present to grace the occasion.
Mr. Raman Chandra, Managing Director, Audi Delhi South said, “We are extremely delighted to host our annual art show in association with Nature Morte as both Audi and Nature Morte cater to the elite and symbolize perfection and innovation.” Mr. Peter Nagy, Director, Nature Morte said, “We are glad to be associated with a brand like Audi and it’s truly a pleasure to see such marvelous works of art on display, by none other than Mr. Tallur.”
Enjoying champagne and hors d’oeuvres was Delhi’s Swish set which included artists, curators, gallery owners, high profile designers, fashionistas, socialites and corporate honchos. Amongst well known fashion designers were Anju Modi, Anjana Bhargav, Charu Parashar, Harpreet & Rimple Narula. Other prominent guests included socialite Ramola Bachchan, entrepreneur Garema Nagpal, socialite Seema Puri who looked fabulous in chic outfits.
