The Future of Mobility: NASSCOM-ERNET CoE-IoT Hosts Telematics India 2017

17th August 2017, Pune: National Association of Software Service Companies’-ERNET Center of Excellence on IoT (CoE-IoT) today kick-started Telematics India 2017, a two-day conference organized to focus on future of mobility. Bringing leaders of Indian Industry 4.0 under a common platform, the conference is designed to deliberate on the connected future of the automotive and transportation industry.

Today’s event witnessed demos and panel discussions revolving around the global and local impact of connected an

d electric vehicles, the opportunities that the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) poses, and how companies can move up the advanced driver-assisted systems (ADAS) value chain. Speakers at the debut included Mr. R Chandrasekhar, President, NASSCOM; Dr. Ajay Kumar, Additional Secretary, MeitY  and it will feature Mr. Ajay Prakash Sawhney, Secretary, MeitY  along  with many industry leaders. Along with speaker sessions, the event will also host the release of market research reports and video demonstrations of new auto-tech concepts and magazine titled ‘Smart Automotive’ in partnership with Telematics Wire.

Panellists from global auto titans like Volvo, Honda, Renault Nissan and Bosch, local giants like Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Bajaj Allianz, and new-age stakeholders Uber and Ola Cabs, will also share their perspectives on the changing landscape. The conference will continue to facilitate conversations on the future of mobility, the nuances of ADAS, and monetization opportunities for services and devices on the connected platform, from telecom integration to in-vehicle infotainment.

Over the course of both days, Telematics India 2017 will host over 500 delegates representing passenger and commercial vehicle OEMs, IT majors, telecom operators, public transport providers, tech start-ups, and policymakers.
