18th April, 2013: Eleven weeks after launch, foodpanda has become the number one food delivery app worldwide. Since its launch at the end of January, around 250,000 customers downloaded the app. According to the leading app analytics platform appannie.com, the foodpanda app is listed as number one food app in eight countries; listed below e.g. in India, Indonesia. Further it takes second place in four more countries. Overall, foodpanda is in the top ten in 20 countries (as of 16th April, 2013).
foodpanda’s mobile app expanded to 23 countries in the last months and is available for Android and iOS. It is the fastest way to order food with a smartphone or tablet: specify your local area and the app lists all restaurants available nearby, providing the greatest variety of different cuisines. After placing an order, the user receives a notification with all order details and the expected delivery time.
