FoodCloud sponsors Django Girls workshop

foodcloudNew Delhi, September 19th, 2016: FoodCloud, an online portal connecting foodies with home chefs and catering in Delhi-NCR had sponsored lunch for a Django Girls workshop recently. The event, hosted at Investopad, Gurgaon was a special effort by Django Girls. FoodCloud was happy to partner with the non-profit organization empowering and helping women to organize free, one-day programming workshops by providing tools, resources and support.

They along with one of their chefs, Smart Snacks, had sponsored lunch for the participants, organisers, trainers and partners. Smart Snacks was also seen selling their healthy, wholesome versions of conventional Indian snacks at the venue through the day.

When we heard about Django Girls and their amazing efforts to introduce women across the world to python and django, we were ecstatic! It was a no brainer for us to support them in any way that we could” said Sanjhi Rajgarhia, Vice President, FoodCloud.
