Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park has announced the appointment of Faiz Alam Ansari as Complex General Manager for Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Centre and Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park. He has over 20 years of experience with leading hospitality brands and has been associated with Starwood hotels & Resorts (now Marriott International Inc.) since October 2006. He has established his position in the industry as an innovative manager in the hospitality space.
Faiz is driven by a quest for excellence and this has been his signature in each of his assignments. His earlier projects has included stints at Raffles Hotel, Singapore as Director of Food & Beverage and later as Executive Assistant manager at Le Meridien, Kuala Lumpur. Prior to moving to Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park, Faiz was also the Hotel Manager of the flagship Westin Hotel in India at the Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi.
Faiz is known among industry veterans and team members for his innovative skills, creative out of the box thinking, people management, providing easy solutions and detailed planning. He is also known for his positive approach towards tasks and has a knack of creating a climate of team work by encouraging cooperation and communication.
Commenting on his appointment, Faiz said, “I feel excited to take on my new role as the Complex General Manager of both Aloft and the upcoming Sheraton and continue to lead this outstanding team towards highest levels of hospitality and ensure quality service providing some of the best experiences to our guests”.
Faiz is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and a certified hospitality trainer. He is an operational excellence champion and Security & Brand Standards champion as well. His many qualifications also include being a property service culture trainer and a blue ocean strategist. Faiz has been instrumental for Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park, in its very first year of operations, bagging several awards.
