Executive Leadership Programme of the Institute of Global Economics and Finance at The Chinese University of Hong Kong

The Executive Leadership Programme of the Institute of Global Economics and Finance at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is slated to be held between the 26th and 30th of August 2013.  Because of its rich and topical contents, there has always been a great demand for participation, particularly from businessmen, bankers, and public and private sector financial institutions in the region.

 

The Institute is running the Executive Leadership Programme for the fourth time in 26-30 August 2013.  The Programme will feature three Nobel Laureates in Economic Sciences: Professor James A. Mirrlees, Professor Robert A. Mundell, and Professor Myron S. Scholes. Other distinguished lecturers include Professor Liu Mingkang, the former Chairman of the China Banking Regulatory Commission, Professor Joseph Yam, the former Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Professor Lawrence J. Lau, former President and Vice Chancellor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, among others.

 

The programme will be covering a number of topical issues in global finance, including the evolution of the international monetary system, the internationalization of the renminbi, financial innovation, global financial reform, etc, and legal aspects of the financial system, banking and capital markets of Hong Kong and China.
