Eurostone and Diamaz announce strategic cooperation

Antwerp, Belgium – January 23, 2013: Eurostone, an Israel-based, leading expert manufacturer of custom-cut and calibrated polished diamonds, and Diamaz, a veteran Antwerp-based boutique diamond supplier, announced they will be stepping up their cooperation in marketing this niche category of diamonds to the luxury watch making industry and top-of-the-bill jewelry designers worldwide.

“Our joint venture will kick off next week in Antwerp, where we will be exhibiting – under the Diamaz brand – at the fourth edition of the Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair,” said Eurostone’s CEO, Pini Netzer. “The agreement with Diamaz is yet another step in Eurostone’s efforts to expand its marketing network and to establish a pied-a-terre in the major diamond trading centers worldwide.”

Diamaz principle Thierry Silber said the cooperation with Eurostone is a ‘hand in glove’ fit to the Diamaz business model. “Diamaz has since long been a highly specialized and service oriented company that predominantly supplies niche products to the downstream diamond and jewelry market.”

Silber said that during the past year, mutual business between the two firms had grown significantly and that the time had come to formalize the relationship between the two firms. “For Diamaz, its means adding yet a significant service, i.e. our ability to supply highly specialized diamonds to the luxury watch and jewelry industry,” Silber stated

The fourth edition of the Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair will be held January 27-29, at the trading halls of the Antwerp Diamond Bourse and the Diamond Club of Antwerp.
