Heerbrugg, Switzerland – 25 September 2013 – ESCATEC has announced the appointment of Dr Thomas Dekorsy (PhD) as General Manager of ESCATEC Switzerland effective 1st October 2013. He replaces Gerhard Klauser who will move to a new role heading up special projects.
Thomas has a PhD in mechanical and process engineering and more than 20 years senior management experience in General Management and manufacturing around the world, mainly in the automotive and the electronic industry. He joins ESCATEC from Carl Haas GmbH where, as Managing Director, he was responsible for restructuring the company’s production and organizational procedures to increase profitability. He has held various manager director positions in Germany, Hungary and China creating an extensive network of global contacts that will help ESCATEC build its sales.
