DuPont Announces 2015 Safety and Sustainability Award Recipients

United Arab Emirates, October 24, 2015 – DuPont has announced the winners of the 12th edition of the DuPont Safety and Sustainability Awards. The awards recognize outstanding intiatives aimed at enhancing workplace safety, sustainability and operational effectiveness.

Selected by an independent jury composed of leading experts in occupational safety and sustainability, the 2015 recipients of the global awards include:

  • Ethylene XXI Contractors SAPI de CV for the Global Safety Award
  • Versa Drives Pvt. Ltd. for the Global Sustainability Award
  • Gulf Drilling International for the Global Operational Excellence Award

The award ceremony in Wilmington, Delaware, USA was accompanied by a Best Practice Forum in which all of the winners shared the context, content and success factors for their projects.

Gulf Drilling International

Established as a joint venture in May 2004, Gulf Drilling International (GDI) is Qatar’s first domestic drilling contractor that conducts oil and gas drilling services.
