Dubai residents swap sand for Swedish ice as winners of Volkswagen driving experience

 

Dubai, 2 March 2015: Three Dubai residents have left the UAE sand in their wake and flown to the freezing temperatures of Sweden for a once in a lifetime Volkswagen driving experience on an icy lake.

Ziyad Asgar Kazi from India, Islam Masoud from Egypt and Amanda Rushforth from the UK won an all-expenses paid trip to Arvidsjaur in Sweden, courtesy of Al Nabooda Automobiles, the exclusive distributor of Volkswagen in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

 

 

 

The five-day trip saw each winner take to the wheel of the powerful Golf R, learning the specific techniques for driving on icy terrains by a team of professional trainers, while taking in the awe-inspiring winter landscapes just a few kilometres below the Arctic Circle.
