Delhi-based venture capital firm, Scale Ventures , announced  Feroza Dalal as a Director and shareholder of Indian Artizans

New Delhi, August 26, 2016: Delhi-based Scale Ventures, announced Feroza Dalal as a Director and shareholder of InCraft Fashion Venture Pvt. Ltd.   InCraft Fashion Venture Pvt. Ltd. is the parent company of the e-commerce portal Indian Artizans. Scale Ventures  is a leading venture capital firm that invests primarily in early-in-revenue start ups and has invested in InCraft Fashion Venture Pvt. Ltd.

Feroza Dalal will be instrumental in setting up brick and mortar multi designer stores for Indian Artizans. She has worked with the leading designers and brands like Tarun Tahiliani,Mango and Aza Fashions and has connected talent across the global fashion industry.

Talking about the association, Rahul Narvekar, Co-Founder and Director, Scale Ventures and Investor Director, InCraft Fashion Venture, said, “Indian Artizans was launched with an aim to provide a platform to the weavers to showcase their products globally. Brands like these should be encouraged as they are helping the Indian economy to excel. With Feroza’s guidance we can take our traditional weaves a notch higher globally by setting up concept stores all over the World”.

The fund is obtaining registration from SEBI under category 1 AIF for $16Mn (INR 100 Cr.) corpus. In last two years, Rathi Ventures has invested in a number of small businesses in Pune. Both the founders started the company with same mindset of not just funding the start-ups but giving the right kind of mentorship which is far more vital at an early stage of a start up. Rahul and Nilesh are both batch mates from IIM-Calcutta.
