The beautiful Adriana became the reigning Miss Universe 2015 for a brief moment as she was mistakenly crowned winner. Host Steve Harvey quickly recognized his error and apologized to the audience and finalists. The title was won by Miss Philippines with German roots Pia Wurtzbach. Adriana, however, handled the host´s mistake with a grace and was really stunning in her glittering gown decorated with 40 000 cut stones from PRECIOSA.
In Las Vegas on Sunday night 20th December 2015, the South American beauty wore a gown designed by ALFRED BARRAZY from Columbia. The gown shone in brilliant shades of Gold Quartz from the traditional Czech producer of cut crystal components. The dress was made in a studio in Bogota, Columbia, and it took 4 dressmakers whole two weeks to finish it.

Alfredo Barraza has studied architecture at the Caribbean University in Columbia and has been designing wedding dresses since 1983. The greatest success of Columbia at international beauty pageants was the title of Miss Universe 2014 won by Paulina Vega. Also she stood out in a Barrazagown decorated with Preciosa stones.
