During the event, BROTHER INTERNATIONAL (GULF) FZE joined over 300 volunteers who worked at a 36-hour sewing marathon production line to produce 668 mastectomy cushions and drainage bags that will be part of Care Packs for patients recovering from breast surgery. The initiative was held in cooperation with Craft Land, a leading retailer and wholesaler of crafting products in Dubai and Brest Friends, a local breast cancer support group.

“We are truly proud to be part of this unique initiative to produce items that will be of great help to breast cancer patients on the road to recovery. We would like to thank Craft Land and Brest Friends for involving us with the event. Rest assured, the company will continue to support CSR based programs that not only aims to help bring the community together but also increases awareness on important issues and causes,” concluded Soichi Murakami, Managing Director of BROTHER INTERNATIONAL (GULF) FZE.

The care packs produced from Sew Pink! will be distributed by Brest Friends and other medical networks throughout the UAE to offer comfort and mobility to patients—helping them keep active as they heal.
