Bridge & Roof Co. (India) Ltd. (B&R) has successfully erected two nos. Coke Drums weighing 575 MT each at Manali Refinery of Chennai Petroleum Corpn. Ltd. The erection was carried out at the base height of 30m above ground with the help of main crane of 1250 MT and trailing crane of 550 MT. The height of each coke drum is 44.113m and diameter is 10m. The coke drum structure of 1200 MT has been assembled and erected in the form of eight modules within a record time of 26 days with the same cranes. The top elevation of the structure is 122m above ground level.
