Bridge & Roof Co. (India) Ltd. (B&R) has been awarded a contract by The Project Director, Disaster Management Department, Govt. of West Bengal for Construction of Multipurpose Cyclone Shelters under NATIONAL CYCLONE RISK MITIGATION PROJECT (NCRMP-II) at South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas and Purba Midnapur in West Bengal. The project is funded by International Development Association and the value of work to be awarded to B&R is Rs. 419.72 Crores which is one of the highest single order received by the Company. B&R, a Mini Ratna Category –I CPSE under Department of Heavy Industry, Govt. of India, is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Construction Company with its headquarters at Kolkata.
