The rankings are the result of a survey of senior managers from top international hospitality companies around the world, conducted by industry market research firm Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS), the world’s largest provider of custom research and analysis.

The curriculum at BMIHMS combines academic business management studies with practical learning within simulated hotel environments which facilitate student to learn the trade of the industry while pursuing their studies. BMIHMS provides two fast-track Bachelor of Business undergraduate degree courses where students can specialize in International Hotel and Resort Management or International Event Management with two six-month industry placements. They then progress to study in Sydney at the modern Executive Business Centre in the heart of the city. An online survey was delivered to more than 50,000 hospitality managers working in more than 80 countries.
