“Bespoke” after-hours at Landolt-Arbenz, Zurich

Bespoke is a beautiful word to describe someone’s personal belonging, made especially to fit.
An object particularly wished and cherished. Tailor-made. Made to order.

Montegrappa, specialised since ever to personalise the writing instruments of its affectionate customers, would also add: “Bespoke is easy to define, but challenging to realise…It is an old and noble practice, yet one that has all but disappeared in an increasingly commercial world, especially for items that require technical prowess involving work with metals, precious stones or other materials that are costly and difficult to fashion. Yet! We persist in wishing to satisfy our customers’ every desire, when it comes to memories, passion and affections. A writing jewelry as personal as it can be…we cannot do less than ensure your Montegrappa pen is unique –… to You.”

The historical Landolt-Arbenz store in Switzerland, running its high-end gift & accessories business since 1882, is truly! the best place where to tell the exclusive Bespoke travelling collection of Montegrappa.
This imposing two-story luxury pen store hosted on June 18th this year a special RSVP event, where the boutique’s dearest clients could personally assist a demonstration of the Bespoke Sterling Silver or 18K Gold pen barrel engraving technique, performed by a Montegrappa highly specialised engraver.
Once chosen the colour from the amazing celluloid palette, the Bespoke Montegrappa pen is then customised on its precious metal parts with whatever image or photograph one has closer at heart. Much to the astonishment of the guests, an exclusive threesome of Bespoke pens, depicting complicated fauna figures and a typical folk motif from the Swiss Appenzello canton, have been finalised while enjoying the store visit.
During the three-day ongoing trunk show in the heart of Zurich, the public was also delighted by the presentation in person of Montegrappa’s CEO Mr. Giuseppe Aquila and Landolt-Arbenz storeowners Mr.
Andreas and Mrs. Martina Zimmerli.
