Bvlgari

Lvcea Tubogas

The tubogas bracelet, with its flexible links that coil around the wrist, is one of the brand’s signature looks, first used by Bulgari in the 1940s. Tubogas is so-called because of its similarity to a woven-metal gas pipe, an elegant expression of industrial-inspired design. It is formed by wrapping long bands of gold or steel around a steel core, interlocking to hide the core metal. It is combined for the first time this year with the case of the Lucea, Bulgari’s most modern ladies’ watch. The name Lucea comes from luce, Italian for “light,” and celebrates the essence of the sundial, with its light-reflecting mother-of-pearl and diamond dials. Lucea Tubogas watches come in a two-tone combination of gold and steel.

The aeronautically inspired font is composed of white Super-LumiNova blocks. The caseback reinforces the pilot’s theme with an engraving of the plane flown by Louis Blériot when he crossed the English Channel in 1909, wearing a Zenith, as well as the Zenith flight instruments logo and a motif inspired by the fuselage of Blériot’s aircraft. A variety of dials, including diamond options, and a choice of several straps complete the expanded selection. The traditional elegance of the Record is combined with a modern, elite movement that is COSC-certified as a chronometer. The automatic calibre features a silicon balance spring, a lightweight material that is corrosion-resistant, anti-magnetic and unaffected by normal temperature variations and atmospheric pressure. Alpina

AlpinerX

In 1903, the Alpinists, a group of watchmakers and retailers would collaborate together to decide on the future designs of quality watches. Today, Kickstarter represents the modern equivalent of this collaborative process. In this tradition, Alpina is extending an invitation to Kickstarter community members – the new Alpinists – to give feedback and thoughts about the AlpinerX. All users will receive their chosen color variant from the 3200 available combinations. Four models will be available at our retailers and the customizable watches will be displayed via the Kickstarter campaign. This outdoors smartwatch uses advanced measurement functions benefiting from environmental sensors, including UV, temperature, altitude, pressure and direction. The functions are measured in real time and displayed digitally, along with time, date, activity, chronograph and multiple timekeeping functions, as well as other smartwatch functions. Conceived and designed in our manufacture in Geneva, the AlpinerX will be launched on Kickstarter.

Favre-Leuba

Raider Bathy 120 MemoDepth

Favre-Leuba creates timepieces with the goal of conquering the extremes of nature – to scale the world’s highest peaks and dive to the ocean’s depths. Favre-Leuba’s Bathy, when it was introduced in 1968, was one of the first wristwatch with a membrane and a central hand that made it possible to measure depth more accurately. The Raider Bathy 120 MemoDepth celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Bathy, with a modernized depth gauge. A special membrane integrated into the caseback allows water to enter a chamber that measures pressure to calculate depth up to 120 metres – twice the depth measured by the original Bathy. Depth, is relayed via a blue central hand on the dial. The Bathy, which is water resistant to 200 metres, also has a depth memory that stores the maximum depth (up to 120 m) reached during a single dive. The hermetical separation of the depth membrane from the movement ensures the watch is always protected.

Albert Riele

Every detail of this gentleman’s watch is carefully considered and executed to reflect the Albert Riele standard of elegance and taste. Bergstern

Harmony B049G233

The enduring classic design of the Harmony collection is expressed with a clean, tone-on-tone dial and a clarity of form that recalls the pure alpine skies. While the small seconds dial and chronograph counter are placed at 6 o’clock and between 9 and 11 o’clock on the dial, the moon phase indicator takes a unique position between 1 and 2 o’clock. A discreet date window in the 4 o’clock position balances and “harmonizes” the design. The premium Swiss-made quartz movement has an essential end-of-life (EOL) indicator, a function of great convenience that takes the guess work out of knowing when to replace the battery. The robust 316L stainless steel case is water resistant to 50 metres, making it a suitable companion for sports as well as for more elegant endeavours.
