Joining hands with the United Nations for this initiative, designer Anita Dongre came on board to design a stunning look for the UN ambassador and equality champion ,Celina Jaitly. Commenting on the association and the look designed for Celina Jaitly, Anita Dongre says, “ It’s an honour for us to be associated with the UN for this superb initiative and it was a wonderful experience creating a special look for Celina. As per the brief shared with us, the colors of lime green and hot pink came together beautifully evoking a bold, vibrant yet serene and calm vibe. The color  and silhouette dichotomy symbolised the “Free & Equal” spirit of the campaign. We worked on an indo fusion look and teamed a lime green sheer choli  with gota patti work paired with a hot pink embroidered lehenga skirt and completed the look with a cummerbund and jewellery from my Pinkcity collection”

Actress and UN equality champion Celina Jaitly: “It’s been wonderful to see this project come together, and to see so many talented creative people getting involved, giving their time and ideas for free. I can’t wait for everyone to see the results.I am very thankful for the wonderful support that Anita Dongre and her wonderful team has extended to the United Nations.

The more people watch this video and can share it with everyone they know, the further our message of acceptance and equality will spread. The best way to reach people across borders and language & cultural barriers is through music and I am most blessed to be able to contribute my musical debut to such a good cause.”
