August: Collage and Raymond Weil presented Anand Kabras Wabi Sabi 2 collection at the Collage store in Chennai. 
The event was held at the collage store and the whos who of Chennai was present there. Anand Kabra had also specially come to be a part of the promotion and interact with the Clients. Raymond Weil was also a part of the promotion and presented a spectacular watch to the most frequent buyer at Collage. The people present there were Anand Kabra, Priyanka Madhan, Priya Gautham, Geetanjali Prashant, Amritha Juliana, Mr& Mrs Joel to name a few.

For his Chennai sojourn Anand has curated, handpicked & created ensembles that work largely for his Chennai clientele. The line on display will pick elements from each of his previous lines,Wabi Sabi,Taramati & Kumari. He will also expose to Chennai Wabi Sabi 2, which largely defines the word edgy,done on a dark pallet it will move and potray various interpretations of muted color. Anand’s forte lies in his ability to create stories with each line. Vibrant motifs,vivid colours & exquisite embroidery has played a key note with each ensemble he has created over the years. A strong thematic essence drives each line.Using a single emotion,motif or story his garments exemplify the term Indian,unifying cohesively for the quintessential global woman.
Anand says : “Having worked with Collage over 5 years, he’s familiar with the myriad of women who patronize his garments. The line on display is a journey between global silhouttes against the dynamics of a fabulous colour story using extraordinary hand technique.Clients will see three tone zardozi,beaten gold, lampi, shibori, color blocks and floral cut work.” The collaboration of design has been put together from over six months,Anand will bring in  the very best of his talent,his energy will be most visible amongst the rhapsody of  colors ,used against signature Hyderabadi & Mogul silhouette, tweaked for the discerning women of Chennai.
The line comprises of classic anarkalis,floor length angrakhas,lehenga saris,it graduates  towards embellished jackets,pallazos and quirky dhotis.
