Rashmi Pitre, an Indian actress and artiste, will showcase her paintings at the India Art Fiesta exhibition of paintings, scupture and photography from 26th March to 30th March at the Coomaraswamy Hall, Kala Ghoda, Fort, Mumbai. Singer Abhijeet will inaugurate the exhibition on the first day.

Rashmi Pitre has been pursuing Art since childhood. Rashmi has studied Ancient Indian Culture (Philosophy) from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and has done a Diploma in Original Philosophy of Buddhism from K.J. Somaiya Institute, Mumbai. Being a self-taught Artist, She has won many prizes n Medals in top State and National Competitions in painting. She masters in Abstract painting and has spirituality as her subject in most of her work. She has co-ordinated her’ Painting with her own poetry’ on Canvas. she has over 45 Art Exhibitions and Shows in India and Abroad to her Credit. Rashmi has won many Prizes and medals in Painting – Around Twelve first prizes in top State and National competitions in Acting- Best Actress Catagory.
Rashmi is seen as the central lead on Star Plus in the most popular show on Indian Television – ‘Diya aur Bati Hum’. Rashmi has done major roles on Television in ‘Main Teri Parchhain hoon’ by Rajshri Productions , ‘Rehna Hai Teri Palkon ki chhaon Mein’-by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms , Pardes Mein Mila Koi Apna’- by Reliance Big Productions on Imagine TV , ‘Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli’ on Zee TV and ‘Bidaai’ on Star Plus. Apart from doing some other Tv shows she has also done major channel promos of UTV Bindass n Imagine.
Currently, acting in short films, Rashmi did 2 Hindi films as parallel lead. One of them was with reputed film actor- Mr. Satish Kaushik( 2013). She did a Marathi film titled PISARA as main lead actor with legendary actors in marathi industry. Currently, she is also doing a Tamil Movie in main lead tentatively titled – ‘My sweet love’. She walked the Ramp in the fashion Segment of chat show ‘Lift Kara De’ on Sony TV with Host Karan Johar n Guest -Deepika Padukone.
Rashmi’s Personal Interests include: Painting, Horse Riding, Dancing and singing, Reading novels and philosophy books n Articles, Listening to music while driving.
