More than 7000 Participants of Airtel Delhi Half Marathon recovered at Volini “Recovery Zone”

New Delhi, November 25, 2014: For participants of Airtel Delhi Half Marathon, the finish line also meant heading towards Volini “Recovery Zone”. The 6,750 sq ft “Recovery Zone” at the finish line, had professional therapists and sports injury counselors tending to the tired muscles.

 

With masseurs, foam rollers, beds, lounge etc., the “Recovery Zone” was supervised by India’s best known sports scientist Shayamal Vallabhjee. The Recovery Zone facilitated instant pain relief and tending to tired muscles. Talking about the Recovery Zone, Shayamal Vallabhjee, said, “Marathon is a strenuous sport. While running, one is exerting every muscle of the body. Over a period of time, the muscles tend to swell leading to pain.
